If the files you have are not split, and TVDB lists full episodes, name correctly, all good.If the files you have are not split and TVDB lists them as split = take the time to split every episode yourself to each one matches 1 metadata entry, name them per the multi-episode-per-file method which results in shit playback as it replays episodes, or leave them whole and have entries listed as S01E01, S01E03, S01E05, not good.If the files you have are already split, and TVDB lists full episodes = name them with the split file method, all good.

If the files you have are already split and so is TVDB = name correctly, all good. The worst thing is, it could be so much easier to purposely not list them as separate, due to Plex's naming rules (which I know Plex isn't TVDB's biggest concern but it has to be up there if not the biggest).

If the show is aired as one 30 minute (22+commercials) episode, then I don't give a monkeys rotten cunt if it has an A, B, C, or D segment, it's one fucking episode and should be listed as such. Just about any cartoon from the-dawn-of-north-american-animation until at least the mid-00's has a greater-than-50% chance of being split up into segments on their website for no fucking reason.

Please go to the relevant subreddits and support forums, for example:Ībsolutely fucking nobody, but TVDB has always felt they know best (and gets laughed out of this sub every time their social-media-chud drops by to try and defend it) and we get to suffer for it.
